\"\"The Clinch River is nestled in the mountains of East Tennessee, the Clinch tailwater is 13 miles in length and flows from Norris Dam, at River Mile 80, to the Highway 61 Bridge near Clinton, TN, at River Mile 67.\u00a0<\/p>

The Clinch River is known as a premier trout fishery to many experienced anglers and is home to rainbow, brown and brook trout. The average trout will be 11 to 12 inches in length. Fishing on the Clinch is good year round, but it is great in late winter, early spring and late fall, early winter.\u00a0A Tennessee fishing license is required to fish on the Clinch.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The Clinch River is also a popular destination for kayaking and canoeing. The beautiful, clear water and majestic scenery make for a memorable trip. Be sure to check TVA’s generation schedule.\u00a0<\/p>

Directions<\/strong>: The Clinch River tailwater is located just Northwest of Knoxville TN off of Interstate 75. All public access points can be reached within just a few minutes from exit 122 (Clinton\/Norris). Take exit 122 and travel east on Highway 61 to Highway 441 (will be on your left). Turn left onto 441 and continue straight to TVA access at the Weir Dam and along the river via the Songbird Trail which will be on your left.\u00a0<\/p>

To reach Miller Island Boat Ramp, take exit 122 and travel east on Highway 61 to Highway 441 (will be on your left). Travel 2 miles and turn left onto River Rd. Miller Island Boat Ramp will be on your right.\u00a0<\/p>

To reach Peach Orchard access, take exit 122 and travel west on Highway 61. Turn right onto Hillvale Rd. Peach Orchard Road is on the left with signage to the boat ramp.\u00a0<\/p>

To access Highway 61 Boat Ramp and the Second Baptist Church of Clinton access point, take exit 122 and travel west on Hwy 61. Travel 3 miles and Highway 61 Boat Ramp will be on your left just before you cross the bridge over the river and Second Baptist will be on your right just after the bridge.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
