The Norris Lake Project Team is a 501c3 Charitable Organization organized to preserve the natural beauty and conserve the natural resources of the Norris Lake Watershed area for the benefit of the residents and visitors to the area while assisting the local governments combat the deterioration of natural resources in the surrounding communities.  The organization’s main focus of work is conducting shoreline cleanups on Norris Lake.

The organization is operated by volunteers and funded by grants, sponsorships and generous donations.  The cleanup efforts expenses include boats to transport volunteers, barges to transport trash and debris and dumpster. ONE-HUNDRED PERCENT of donations and grant funds are directly spent on the cleanup efforts.
